RdC / garden
The main entry to the ancient bar was located on Tannay’s main street: Rue Ste Agathe. A small ironwork gate leads into what over time has become a wildly overgrown garden.

The garden completely closed off the house from the main street. Restoring the old access is a prime concern. The garden contains a stone well with a source’s water surface (or underground stream) at 12 meters (40ft.) deep; a roof leaning to a small tower staircase, a shelter of sorts, probably an ancient greenhouse and workshop; a stone staircase leading down to the wine cellar.

The previous owner’s plantation provides some blooming every month since early March, when spring sparks off for the Malus x floribunda, or Japanese flowering crabapple, followed by Budleja, Wisteria, Lonicera (deep smelling honeysuckle) and Clematis.
