When its renovation started the Café de Tannay quickly became a node in different supply and disposal relationships. First the house produces waste, tons of waste. The Tannay landfills supervisor wonders if anything at all will remain of the ancient site after our operations. Then the house imports tons of raw material, primarily sand and chalk and some wood, with which scars are recovered and new constructions made. Then also discarded material and (half-)products are imported, like the Briare tiles and occasional object which cannot be resisted, while refurbishment and embellishment are still months away.
